 Verified Unique Africa Ventures went above and beyond!
I had a great experience with Unique Africa Ventures. There were some last minute problems with my gorilla permit which they helped resolve (over the weekend!) enabling me to go on the trip. On the day itself, everything went smooth as well. Pick up was on time, the drive was comfortable and John was very friendly and knowledgeable. At the park, he also made sure I was where I needed to be. Travelling solo, I felt I was in good hands. The gorilla trek itself (with guides from the park) was an amazing experience. Travelling back to Kigali, John was also extremely helpful by dropping me off at a different location from where we departed. I would highly recommend booking with them!

 Verified A memorable day, with a very good guide and driver.
A French-speaking guide, with confident driving on both roads and trails, friendly, and early to help us enjoy a memorable stay! He knows the trails and the park like the back of his hand. His relationships with other guides (via a private WhatsApp group), his knowledge of the area, his instinct, and his eyesight allow him to offer us the chance to see the iconic animals of Akagera Park in their natural habitat. Yesterday we were able to see impalas, kobs, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, fish eagles, and especially, just a few meters away, a group of 12 lions and lionesses, then 6 separate rhinoceroses. Only the leopard was missing, which is rarely present and difficult to see during the day. His kindness and professionalism make him a partner whom I highly recommend for a future trek. We had a super moment at Akagera thanks to Jean Bosco, super driver, safe drive and he knows the park like a real guard. We saw all animals we dream to see ! It was a real pleasure ! For information He can speak french.

Exceptional day with our guide Jean Bosco, whom we already knew from a previous trip. Everything was perfect. We spent a superb day with the family in Akagera Park. Thanks to Jean Bosco, we were lucky enough to see almost all the Big Five animals; we missed the leopard, which is not very visible during the day. Very attentive We highly recommend him to you.

 Verified Professional tour and knowledgeable guides - Wonderful experience overall
I highly recommend this agency for the safari tour. I have booked the day safari from Kigali and the driver Philippe came early morning to pick me up from my hotel in a safari jeep. I ended up being the only one in the tour so although it was a group tour i ended up having it all for myself, so we took our time watching all sorts of animals and the Philippe was super knowledgeable, gave me so many information about every animal we came across. I was a fantastic day! One of a lifetime experiences and I’m so glad i got to it with Unique Africa Ventures because they took care of everything and gave me the time to enjoy the safari fully!

Lake mburo experience is super exciting, walking safari is unparalled , we are grateful to the ranger during walking and the team that made everything possible. Walking with giraffes and zebras in wild is truly recreational.
